Nothing humbles you more than finding old pics of yourself.
Not proud of my service btw – it was a proxy war for oil in Kuwait. I was Yeoman overseeing an inventory of roller dudes (mine breaching equipment) that went over with the 1st Marines Division and served in TF Grizzly. I’m shocked I’ve never suffered lung damage from the burning derricks (knock wood).
The pic on the right is from October 2, 1989 at my mamala’s house. I got out of the military on this day in 1992, and the head-shots were taken by my girlfriend at the time, she was aspiring to be a photographer.
